HORSE RACING BETTING TIPS FOR OCTOBER 29
We have another solid line-up of racing happening on Thursday, October 29 with Victor Chandler bringing us action from Newcastle, Lingfield, Clonmel, Stratford, Vaal and the all-weather surface at Wolverhampton for the evening races. The first race that catches my eye is the 1:50 Beginners Chase at Stratford where we have the Jonjo O'Neill-trained Sunnyhillboy teaming up with Tony McCoy to take on a field of four. I expect a very short price on Sunnyhillboy, who should run away with this one, but if you don't plan on backing him outright, why not use him as part of a double on any other race you fancy on the day? He comes into this race in stellar form at 311101- and I think this is a great shot for him. The 2m 4f distance suits Sunnyhillboy and there are too many questions over top of David Pipe's Ashkazar for my liking. In the 6 pm fixture at Wolverhampton, we have the heavily-backed Daniella De Bruijn taking on an assortment of other 2 year-olds in a 1m 1f dash. Coming with a 245143 record and favoured jockey Seb Sanders on top, I think this is a combo that's going to be hard to beat. Saint Thomas is worth a look, but I think this one is definitely Daniella De Bruijn's to win. I've also got my eye firmly fixed on the 2:10 at Lingfield where we have Sir Michael Stoute's Rosika facing off against Saeed Bin Suroor's Baila Me. I think the difference here lies in Frankie Dettori on top of Baila Me. The Godolphin-owned charge is a progressive horse who had a poor one-off at Newmarket back on the 17th in the Group 2 Pride Stakes for fillies and mares. I can definitely see a return to earlier form and I'm confident that this distance suits her a bit better. I expect her to be at about 4/1, but I wouldn't mind a bit of extra value if the punters pile onto Rosika, as expected.
