Selection : BRAVE INCA Danger : Macs Joy

• ACCORDION ETOILE Put up a fantastic show to beat Westender in the Greatwood Handicap hurdle at Cheltenham last time but was receiving a fair bit of weight. Has the ability to run well but will need a career-best performance to land this.
• BRAVE INCA Beaten fair and square by Macs Joy last time but the feeling is that there is better to come as the ground was not ideal there. Must be a leading contender.
• GEORGES GIRL Hard to fancy on last running but is better than that. Even so there would need to be a fair bit of improvement forthcoming if this one was to get involved in the finish today.
• HARCHIBALDHas missed work because of the bad weather and at the time of writing is unlikely to run.
• HARDY EUSTACE Didn't seem to be firing on all cylinders last time and may not be at his best at present. Will no doubt be a different proposition come Cheltenham in March.
• MACS JOY Made the transition from decent handicapper to Grade 1 hurdle winner when landing the December Festival Hurdle here last month and is clearly going the right way and will be hard to beat here.
• ROYAL SHAKESPEARE Not a certain runner at the time of writing and would probably struggle against these.
