Indianapolis Colts remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL after they demolished St.Louis Rams 45-28 on Monday Night Football. The best price available for the Colts to win SuperBowl is 5/2 at Bet365, with most firms offering around the 2/1 mark. It hadn't started so brightly for the bookies favourites as they fell behind 17-0 in the first quarter. The defence was made to look ordinary by Marc Bulger and Steven Jackson. Then the Rams caught an unlucky break when their QB was knocked out the game. From there on in, the Colts took full advantage intercepting replacement signal caller Jamie twice. Manning finished with a couple of scores, including a record breaking TD toss to Marvin Harrison. Edgerrin James also ran for 143 yards and three touchdowns. How good the Colts really are on defence is still not certain. After playing so many poor offensive teams, they were fortunate in the Rams losing their signal caller early. There won't be too many clues over the coming weeks with Houston on the schedule twice. The only other franchise given a single digit quote is Philadelphia at 8/1. The Eagles had a much needed bye week allowing some of their key players to recover. The next ten organisations in the betting are closely ranked by the firms, ranging from the struggling New England Patriots at 12/1 to the improving Dallas Cowboys at 25/1. On the schedule next week are a couple of fascinating match-ups. Cincinnati entertain division rivals Pittsburgh Steelers - victory for the Bengals would put them firmly in control of the AFC North.
