INTER MILAN VS BARCELONA 2010 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI FINAL PREVIEW AND TIPS

One of the biggest semi-final clashes you’ll ever see is set to kick-off tomorrow as Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan side take on high-flying Barcelona in the 1st leg of their 2010 Champions League clash. There are some quality odds all-around in this one, with no team being listed as the odds-on favourite. Mourinho puts his stellar home record on the line once again and their main priority will likely be stifling Barcelona and doing their best to keep a clean sheet. I think a 0-0 result would suit Mourinho just fine.

Barcelona are considered the favourites, but not by a huge margin. You’ll find them available at an 11/8 price tag while Inter can be backed at 2/1 and the draw trades at a 9/4 margin. You can also grab Inter on the draw no bet at 6/5.
Barcelona are considered to be the strong favourites to qualify for the next round with a 4/11 price against Inter’s 15/8. This market will be completely turned inside out based on who scored the first goal in the two-legged tie, so I think this is a much better selection for Inter fans than Barca supporters.
If you think either team is going to run away with this one and take a decisive victory by more than a single goal. Barcelona (-1.0) trades at 4/1 while Inter Milan (-1.0) is listed at 6/1.
Lionel Messi is considered the only player with an odds-on price to score at any time in this fixture with a 10/11 price while Diego Milito is expected to be the go-to-guy for Inter Milan. He’s sitting at a 7/5 price tag with teammate Samuel Eto’o available at a 9/5 price. Goran Pandev is trading at 23/10. Be sure to keep your eyes on Wesley Sneijder at 10/3 anytime. If he’s on-song then he could be a very strong bet.
Paddy Power is running a first-rate money-back special on this one with a final goal scored by Samuel Eto’o resulting in all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles. That’s a nice hedge against some of the bets you can make for this one. Plenty of value out there for this one so punters from both sides have lots of opportunity here to secure a big pay-day. I think Inter could be a big surprise here and I think Mourinho is certain to display more of his tactical nous. You know he has something up his sleeve.
