INTER MILAN VS BAYERN MUNICH 2010 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL LATEST ODDS
With Jose Mourinho’s side winning one for the purists thanks to a tough slog at Camp Nou, we’re now seeing the first-rate Italians ready to line up against Bayern Munich. The odds on the 2010 Champions League Final will be released at bookmakers all over in Europe in just a few hours, but the open betting markets at Betfair have had live trading happening through the 2nd leg beyween Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Towards the end of the match, Barcelona were trading as high as 10.0 as Josep Guardiola’s side saw their aspirations dashed by the effective and organized Italian side. Barcelona certainly had the refs on their side and the simulation from Busquets is a full-blown blemish on the game. A retroactive ban needs to be instituted to clamp down on those types of things-especially on such a big stage.
If you’re looking to back Inter Milan to win the 2010 Champions League, they are currently trading on Betfair at an odds-on price of 1.7 at the time of this writing. It has been fluctuating heavily and has even dipped down towards 1.6 but I expect it to settle down shortly. I would not expect them to be priced any higher by 1.8 once the dust has settled.
Bayern Munich’s odds to win the 2010 Champions League Final are priced at 2.8 at the moment and not experiencing the type of heavy volume that we’re seeing for Inter Milan. The Germans had a much easier path to the final and were the beneficiaries of some unbelievable pieces of luck along the way. They will have no away goals to help them here and I have a feeling that their luck could very well run out.
Franck Ribery will be absent from the 2010 Champions League Final as he was red carded in the 1st semi-final leg and was subsequently banned for three matches. Fair play, as it was a very dangerous challenge.
I would expect Bayern Munich to be trading at around 2.75 or even as high as 3.0 with Inter steady at 1.8 to win the 2010 Champions League Final. What a match this is going to be!
