INTER VS BARCELONA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL LATEST BETFAIR ODDS
With two hours before kick-off at 19:45 UK time for the Inter Milan vs Barcelona clash, we’re starting to see the Betfair markets really heat up as punters from all over the globe are matching bets on what is expected to be a scintillating Champions League clash between two absolute heavyweights. If you're looking for more tips and odds, check out any of the other Inter vs Barcelona articles in the box to your left!
The layers on Betfair are certainly giving the edge to Barcelona, but good prices abound with every option in the 1X2 market paying out well above even money. Currently, with millions of pounds matched, you’ll see Barcelona trading at 2.42 while Inter can be backed at around 3.45. The draw is priced at 3.3 and I think we’ll see plenty of action on the drawn match.
Barcelona are heavily-favoured for outright qualification, with a price of 1.4 to go through to the 2010 Champions League Final. Inter are available at 3.45 and that’s a very tidy price that will probably drop substantially even if Inter notch the first goal tonight. If they don’t concede an away goal, you will likely find that option at around 2.75 tomorrow. The outright market is poised on the head of a pin, in my opinion.
Betfair’s open market doesn’t seem to fancy either team dominating the first half, with the opening 45 minute betting market listing the draw at 2.2 and Barcelona at 3.25. Inter are available at 4.1 and that’s a tidy price, especially if Jose Mourinho’s men get off to a blitzkrieg start.
There are stellar odds of 2.32 available on Lionel Messi to score anytime in this fixture. William Hill has the Argentine sensation at 4/7 anytime! If you’re a Messi fan- snap up that price! Samuel Eto’o is priced alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic at 3.4 or 3.5 (both are fluctuating pretty heavily) while Diego Milito is available at a very tidy 3.45. Bojan Krkic is priced at 5.1 while Thierry Henry to score at anytime is a very tidy 7.2. These open market prices are much better than the odds currently on offer by most major bookmakers.
One very telling betting market is on the “both teams to score” listing where, indeed, both teams are favoured to score. You’ll find the “Yes” option at 1.93 while the “No” option is at 2.06.
