Inter Milan have never been an easy side to play against, regardless of whether it’s pre-season or not. Louis Van Gaal’s men have been showing a real sense of fluency in their two fixtures and, despite shipping two late goals against Roma, they are expected to continue kicking on here with many fancying them to get the result.
The real icing on the cake for Van Gaal has been the fact that United’s offensive formation has been excelling even without the presence of Robin Van Persie. Wayne Rooney had an incredible first half in their last match - scoring two and setting up the other for Juan Mata - who produced a delicious strike as he took a perfect tough and then chipped the Roma keeper to make it 2-0.
As it currently stands, punters will find United trading at a 1.83 price tag to get the outright result while Inter Milan can be backed at 3.75 to win over the 90 minutes of play. You can also back the draw at 3.20 and that might be a popular wager for neutral punters.
It’s always interesting to see which players start the match and which players actually wind up finishing the session as Louis Van Gaal has also been getting some good performances from some of the lesser names on the United team. You also get the feeling that several players are literally in the process of playing for their careers and the likes of Nani, Anderson and Shinji Kagawa look to be more likely to leave than stay on at United.
