Inter vs Manchester United Betting Preview Pt 2

It’s probably not a huge surprise to anybody that Wayne Rooney is the betting favourite to score first here and the bookmakers have him priced out at 5.50 to open the scoring against Inter Milan. He has really looked a different player in his two matches under the tutelage of Louis Van Gaal and his disappointing World Cup appears to be behind him as he has found himself back amongst the goals and appears to be well into another purple patch.
Javier Hernandez has plenty of supporters in America and they have been pleading for him from the stands every match but he just hasn’t looked fluent during his past opportunity to get on the scoresheet. He remains a strange player in a sense as he looks to be that “fox in the box” type but seldom ever finds himself among the goals. You get the feeling his days may be numbered, particularly with a number of other sides still interested in him. Right now, you can back Hernandez to score the opener at a 6.50 price tag.
Danny Welbeck is an interesting option to score and he has looked good in the opening matches as well - forming a very interesting partnership with Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney. You have to assume that he will be the first to go once Van Persie is fit again so he will be doing his best to kick on and score goals here.
Danny Welbeck can be backed at 8.0 to score anytime while Juan Mata (who really looks to be enjoying himself out there) is an enticing 9.0 to open the scoring and he is very likely to start the match so that’s not a half-bad wager in the grand scheme of things.
