IVORY COAST VS PORTUGAL LIVE 2ND HALF BETTING TIPS
We've got another 0-0 result at half-time on our hands and you can count on both sides pushing forward a bit more to get the three points here. I think it's foolhardy to not try to win this match and, since fortune favours the brave, I think the team that gets forward more often and gets a few more chances will wind up seeing the dividends.
Aside from Ronaldo's woodwork-rattling effort early in the match, there hasn't been too many clear-cut chances in this one. Leidson has been effectively shackled and the Ivorians are kicking lumps out of Ronaldo every time he gets the ball. I still wouldn't be surprised if somebody sees red in this match- such is the direction we're going in here.
Popular UK bookmaker Ladbrokes prices Portugal at 2.5 to win this match while the Ivory Coast is trading at 3.75. The draw is listed at 2.3 and expect to see that price drop shraply if we don't see any goals in the next 15 minutes of action.
A 0-0 draw is currently the best-priced correct score outcome, which is a bit depressing. 1-0 to Portugal is just behind that at a 4.0 price while a 1-0 result to Cote D'Ivoire is available at a 6.5 listing. 2-1 to Portugal is priced at 13.0 while 2-1 to Ivory Coast trades at 19.0.
Portugal are priced at even money to score the next goal with Ladbrokes listing them at 2.0. Ivory Coast is available at 3.25 and that's the same price as the draw.
Cristiano Ronaldo is 5.0 to score next while Salomon Kalou trades at 11.0.
The big question is whether or not we see Didier Drogba. If things are still tied up with 20 minutes or so left, I fancy Sven Goran Eriksson to have a gamble and send out the Drog.
