JAPAN VS CAMEROON LIVE WORLD CUP BETTING TIPS
We've just gotten underway in today's second big contest and we've got two really solid teams facing off against each other in Cameroon and Japan. The Japanese are still coasting off their excellent performance eight years ago and that seemed to really be a footballing watershed for the Japanese.
Cameroon are favoured to take the result at this point in the match, with popular live betting site Bet365 pricing them at a 2.25 price to win while Japan can be backed at around 3.75. The draw is priced at 2.75 and you can expect that to drop sharply after half-time if we haven't seen any goals at that point.
Cameroon are odds-on to score the next goal with a 1.9 price while Japan can be backed to score next at 2.6. I think both of those are pretty fair prices as Cameroon boast the strike partnership of Samuel Eto'o and the lower-profile, but still extremely competent Pierre Webo. No goals in the match pays a mere 5.0 price.
Currently, they have priced a first half goal at even money with over 0.5 priced at 2.0 and under 0.5 at 1.72.
Cameroon trade at an odds-on price to keep a clean sheet- listed at 1.83 while Japan have just risen to a 2.5 listing.
The next goal is favoured to come from a shot at 1.72 while a header pays 2.5 and a penalty rewards at 13.0. That's the same price as a free kick. An own goal trades at 29.0.
Samuel Eto'o is very well-priced at 5.5 to score next while Webo an be backed at 6.5. Eric Choupo-Moting trades at 8.5 while Yoshito Okubo is at 12.0 and Keisuke Honda trades at 13.0.
The Japanese do have the resources to stifle Cameroon and keep them scoreless, but draws won't get Japan through to the next round, they need their strikers to step up and get the job done and I'm just not sure whether they'll get the service that they need. This one could go down as a draw or a match with a very late goal.
