KILMARNOCK VS CELTIC BETTING INDICATES ROBBIE KEANE ODDS ON TO SCORE
After completing more or less the biggest move of a very mild January transfer window, another Keane has made the dream move to Glasgow Celtic and I suspect the Irish lad will be looking to start things off with a bang. Shame that his debut can’t come in front of the home crowd, but we still expect a very strong side to take the field and the odds are certainly tilted in Celtic’s favour.
As it currently stands, Celtic are trading at 1/3 with Killie paying out a massive 8/1 for a home victory. The draw is 19/5, but considering the form that Celtic are in so far this season, they should be able to pull off the victory. William Hill’s access to OPTA Sportsdata indicates that Celtic have scored in every league away match this season and you’ll be able to back them to score at 21/20- that’s a very solid bet.
Regarding the correct score betting, the lowest-prices selection is 2-0 to Celtic which pays out at a slim 9/2. 1-0 to Celtic pays 5/1 while a 2-1 victory is trading at 13/2. Celtic 3-0 pays 6/1, while a 4-0 drubbing pays out at 11/1. Even Celtic to win both halves is only listed at 17/20.
Robbie Keane, should he debut tonight, is listed at 7/2 to score first or last and 10/11 to grab a goal at any time. He is 6/1 to score 2 or more (a great bet if he starts) and he is a miniscule 20/1 to grab a hatful of goals.
Scott McDonald, Morten “Duncan” Rasmussen and Georgios Samaras are the favoured goalscorers at 10/3 first or last, 4/5 anytime and 11/2 for 2 or more. Aiden McGeady is always worth looking at and he trades at 5/4 anytime and 5/1 first or last.
If you see Celtic putting up a big total, why not try them (-2.0) at 23/10- that’s a solid selection. Celtic (-4.0) trades at 14/1. Another interesting selection is Celtic to come from behind and win at 13/2. If they ship an early goal or concede an early penalty, this could look a masterstroke as they would likely come storming back.
