Ladbrokes Bonus for Wimbledon 2012

There haven't been any genuinely dramatic shocks in the opening days of Wimbledon as the big three are all moving through with a minimum of fuss and Andy Murray looks to be keeping up the pace in a fixture that always comes at him with a substantial amount of pressure. Should Murray break through it would cap off an incredible summer for British sport with the Olympics just around the corner as well.

At the time of this writing, Andy Murray is leading Ivo Karlovic, of Croatia, at centre court.

Novak Djokovic remains the betting choice for the penultimate winner of the competition as he looks to extend his stellar record in major championships. Bookmakers have taken note of the strong performances from Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer and this has kept Djoko's odds from dropping substantially. He remains at a competitive price tag of about 6/4 with most major bookmakers.

Rafael Nadal has done well over the past few months but has found himself a day late and a buck short when coming up against the in-form Djokovic. He had to labour to a victory in his opening match against Thomaz Bellucci.

Nadal found himself down 4-0 at one point in the first set, though he was able to come win it via tie-break.

Rafa remains the firm second favourite with a competitive 2/1 price that will prove attractive to those who think Djokovic is due for a loss at some stage.

Look for Roger Federer at 4/1 as the cheeky outside bet – he looked better than Djokovic and Nadal did in their openers as he rolled over Italian Fabio Fognini. The win hasn't affected his price at all and Federer certainly knows a thing or two about winning major tournaments like this one so he might be an interesting outside selection.

Look for Andy Murray at 9/1 with other notables being Jo-Wilfred Tsonga at 22/1, Juan Martin Del Potro at 40/1 and Andy Roddick at a hefty 100/1.
