LATEST 2009 X-FACTOR BETTING ODDS AND TIPS

Joe McElderry is now listed as the odds-on favourite to win the X Factor 2009! Popular UK bookmaker Blue Square has placed McElderry as the 8/11 favourite to win this year’s edition of the show. It’s been a very interesting few weeks and we’re looking forward to a Jedward-less finale.
Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs remain in contention and, truly, anything could happen. Stacey is the 2nd favourite and can be backed at a price of 10/3. Olly Murs has done a lot to get to where he is and I like the 9/2 price based on the value. These things usually can be a bit tricky and you can usually bank on surprises with any Reality TV betting, just ask anyone who backed Halfwit to win Big Brother.
Danyl Johnson is also available at 15/2 for the outright win, but commands a price of even money to be named as the 9th elimination from X-Factor. Olly Murs is the 2nd favourite to get the boot at this critical juncture and he is listed at a price of 15/8. Stacey Solomon trades at 9/2 while Joe McElderry commands a massive 14/1 price.
Cheryl Cole is odds-on to be named the Winning Manager of 2009 X-Factor and Blue Square lists her at 8/11. Simon Cowell commands a 5/2 price while Danni Minogue is a distant 10/3 in this market. In terms of the winner of the Top 25 and Over market, you’ll find Olly Murs at 8/15 while Danyl Johnson trades at 11/8.
If you’re really looking to cash in here, why not place a forecast bet on the top 2 finishers in order? You can back Joe McElderry to win and Stacey Solomon to be named runner up at 2/1. Joe to win and Olly 2nd pays out at 9/2 while Stacey to win the show and Joe to come 2nd would pay out at a 5/1 price. Joe to win and Danyl to come 2nd pays out at 7/1. Olly to win and Joe to finish runner up is listed at 8/1 while Danyl to win and Joe to come 2nd pays out at 12/1.
Check out the odds at Blue Square for yourself, there are plenty of other permutations and I expect a big payout come the end of this show. McElderry is your clear favourite, but its going to come down to performances and that throws this thing wide open.
