Latest English Premier League Relegation Odds

As we are now well into the January transfer window, the English Premier League is really starting to heat up - but not at the top where Manchester City have moved out to a 12 point lead over their arch-rivals Manchester United. The really interesting race is beginning to unfold at the bottom of the English Premier League and you can bank on this being a really interesting wagering market as we get forward along into the season.

There is definitely one side who appear to be all but relegated right now and that’s Swansea, who can be backed at a price of around ¼ or even 2/9 with a number of top bookmakers to drop down from the English Premier League to the Championship next year.

It’s a tough situation for the Welsh club who were seen for a few years as potential giant killers who had firmly established themselves in the mid table of the English Premier League.

It now looks as though they are doomed for the drop but the fascinating competition is happening around them for the other two automatic relegation spots down to the Championship. West Brom appears to be the other main candidate here but they are at a significantly longer price with a listing of around 6/5 or even money with a few bookmakers.

Stoke City look like another side who may be dropping out of the league this year and they are in the middle of a miserable run of form, having just nominated a new manager for the second half of the season. Look for them around a price of about 13/8 right now.

Other contenders include Huddersfield and Brighton who are both around a 7/4 price tag while Newcastle are the next best-priced option with their odds significantly higher at an 11/4 price tag.
