The match-ups are spread out over the next three days with a few on Saturday, Sunday and a widely-anticipated encounter between Manchester United and Preston North End in London on the Monday.

The first fixture to get things rolling is the battle between West Brom and West Ham which kicks off as the noon-time feature on Saturday. This one is relatively close but the bookmakers seem to be giving the edge to the home side, West Brom, who come into the fixture with a 7/5 listing to take the outright victory. West Ham, who have been enjoying a bit of a renaissance this year, are trading at a tempting 2/1 price which will probably be knocked down in the build-up to the match.
Expect some relatively decent volume on this one and it’s also quite sensical that the encounter will be used as a key part of a number of Saturday doubles. With the draw trading at 23/10, that’s probably worth avoiding as both sides will be going for the victory here from the outset.
You reckon it’s the type of match that both clubs think they can win though it should be noted that the lowest-priced correct score option is a 5/1 listing on the 1-1 draw.
The second match-up is Crystal Palace vs Liverpool and this one should be fascinating with Alan Pardew’s return to Selhurst Park prompting the side to really turn things around and start looking a lot better - particularly in front of goal. This might make things particularly interesting in this match against Liverpool as you never really know which Liverpool side is going to show up these days.
