Chelsea can be backed at a 2/5 margin and are very short-priced favourites for this one with a home victory clearly expected by the bookmakers.
The Canaries can be backed at a 15/2 margin and they could potentially deliver on that promise since they have shown the ability to play some decent football this season and Chelsea have, effectively, lost to worse teams than Norwich. The draw trades at a 7/2 margin but looks a lot more appealing as an in-play wager than it does for a pre-match bet.
Everton take on Aston Villa and go into the match with an 11/20 price tag to get the result against the midlands club. Villa are under new management and have been looking a bit better as of late - there would be a few punters out there who will fancy them for this one and the 5/1 price tag currently on offer isn’t too bad for a side that need to start moving forward. The draw is priced at a solid 14/5 listing at the current time.
Newcastle take on Leicester City in a match-up that will likely see the bulk of the betting volume come in on the high-flying visitors as opposed to the tumultuous scene currently unfolding at St James’ Park. The bookmakers see this one as one of the closest fixtures of the entire weekend with just the slightest of edges separating the two sides with Leicester trading at a 7/5 margin while the Magpies are available just a tick behind at a 7/4 margin.
Leicester City, led by upstart striker Jamie Vardy (who has now played his way into the English National side) have outperformed all expectations this year and are still slogging it out up there at the top of the league as November begins turning into December - few of us ever thought this would happen.
