Latest Premier League Special Bets PT 2

This actually presents another interesting variable in this year’s league season with Louis Van Gaal now considered the most likely manager to depart next in the Premier League. In fact just in the last 24 hours several bookmakers have taken Van Gaal back into odds-on to be the next to depart and you’ll find some bookmakers floating him as low as a 1/2 margin.

This comes in sharp contrast to where things were just a couple of months ago when United were still riding high from the signing of Anthony Martial. When you combine the fact that United are forced to keep playing their under-performing captain Wayne Rooney and Van Gaal’s absolute insistence on making every single aspect of his approach to football a counterintuitive one, you get the general sense that the players have just sort of checked out.

Van Gaal can still be backed at a few locations as high as an 11/8 margin but you reckon he would have to cock things up pretty badly for United to get rid of him. However there are rumours being bandied about that Manchester United may make a bid to bring in Jose Mourinho (like they should have done instead of opting for the disastrous David Moyes).

Mourinho’s next likely destination appears to be Manchester United and some bookmakers have him listed at an even money price to pull it off. He is as high as a 5/4 margin to head to Manchester United next but you’ll also find that Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain are definitely in the mix as well with both selections trading around a 3/1 margin.

It will certainly be interesting to see how things shape up over the coming fixture list and if Leicester continue to be leading the league by the end of it then you’d have to think they really are in this thing with a shout.
