Live Premiership Soccer - Newcastle v Everton
Everton continue to defy the critics and they will fancy their chances of scoring against a leaky Newcastle defence. The blue side of Merseyside are flying and they have become a closer unit since the departure of Wayne Rooney. Marcus Bent is playing the best football of his career as a lone front man and Tim Cahill is proving very hard to mark as he bursts forward from midfield. The Geordies have conceded FOURTEEN goals at home in the Premiership and Everton can expect to carry on their good scoring record in the North East. Newcastle boss Graeme Souness will have read the riot act to his players after a slump in form and there looks to be a bit of value in the first scorer market. Lee Bowyer has yet to score this season, but the former Leeds man has been peppering the goal for a number of weeks now and it's a case of sooner rather than later. The midfielder is 20/1 and that price should not be missed this weekend in a game that should see a few goals.
