LIVERPOOL VS ARSENAL LATEST ODDS AND BETTING PREVIEW

Who would have thought that the opening day of the 2010/11 Premier League season would see Blackpool standing atop the table (albeit briefly)? It was a wild and wooley day, full of surprises, and we've only got one fixture happening on Sunday but it certainly looks like it could be a classic.
Liverpool are the slim favourites for this one and you can back them at 2.4 price tag to win the match while Arsenal are available at 2.87 and it's pretty clear that the bookmakers see this one going either way.
Both sides will be looking for the win here, but it appears as though the bookmakers think a draw is very possible. A win for either side would provide plenty of momentum at this stage of the season- though I do expect the draw to be a popular selection.
A 1-1 draw pays out at a 6.5 price, making it the lowest-odds correct score. A 1-0 result to Liverpool is trading at 7.0 while a 1-0 victory to Arsenal is listed at 8.0. A 2-1 victory is sitting at 8.0 for Liverpool and 11.0 for Arsenal. Both sides are 29.0 to win 3-2.
This fixture could quickly turn into a duel between Fernando Torres and Robin Van Persie as these two are the favoured anytime goalscorers. Torres just gets the edge with a 2.2 price tag while Van Persie is listed at 2.37.
Debutante Marouane Chamakh is listed at 2.75 while Steven Gerrard is available at 3.25 alongside David Ngog and Andrei Arshavin. Speaking of debutantes, Joe Cole will be making his Premier League debut for the Reds and he's priced at 3.5 to score a goal at any point.
Dirk Kuyt, Daniel Pacheco, Cesc Fabregas and Carlos Vela are all available at 4.0.
Jack Wilshere's odds to score for Arsenal are priced at 5.0.
It looks like the bookmakers favour a lower-scoring affair with the over/under on goals set at 2.5. The under is priced at 1.57 while the over is available at 2.25.
Any Liverpool fans who think their side will run away with this one should back them on the (-1.0) handicap at a 5.5 price. Arsenal on a (-1.0) handicap is trading at 6.5.
You get the feeling that this one is all about who scores the first goal. There are a lot of potential match-winners out there for this one and you can expect stiff competition from the opening whistle. I think, for neutrals, that the draw is probably the safest bet out there.
