LIVERPOOL VS ARSENAL ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

This fixture could go on to define the season for Liverpool and it really only looks like there's two paths away from this one- mid-table obscurity or a renaissance at Anfield. There is really no middle ground for this fixture and it looks like it could go either way. A loss here wouldn't be a disaster for Arsenal, but with Aston Villa currently sitting in 3rd after a massive victory against Manchester United, the three points will be a feather in Arsene Wenger's cap but they are paramount for Rafael Benitez.
If Liverpool lose and lose badly, Benitez's position may become untenable.
The bookmakers don't see much between the two teams and both sides are priced above evens in the outright market at Blue Square. Liverpool are listed at 5/4 with Arsenal available at 23/10 while the draw can be backed at 11/5. I think a draw, likely a dramatic draw, could be the order of the day here with so little between the two sides.
The favoured correct score result is 1-1 at 6/1 with a 2-1 result to Liverpool well-priced at 8/1. Arsenal are 12/1 to win by the same margin. Should the match go to 3-2 you're looking at 28/1 for Liverpool and 40/1 for Arsenal.
Liverpool trade at 11/4 to win both halves while draw/Liverpool is listed at 9/2. Arsenal to win both halves is at 5/1 while draw/Arsenal can be backed at a 13/2 price. A 1-1 draw at half-time pays 6/1, but 0-0 is favoured at 11/8.
Your best bets to score for their teams are likely Fernando Torres and Andrey Arshavin who are priced at 5/4 and 2/1, respectively. Cesc Fabregas is listed at 11/4 to score anytime while Samir Nasri is well-priced at 4/1. Steven Gerrard is available at 13/8 while Yossi Benayoun has a bit of scoring in important fixtures and you'll find him at 11/4.
Gerrard and Torres are both 6/1 to be named Man of the Match.
My scorecast selection: Feeling a bit cheeky, I'm going for Fernando Torres/3-2 Liverpool @ 110/1. I'll also take Steven Gerrard/1-1 draw @ 40/1.
