LIVERPOOL VS CHELSEA BETTING TIPS

There is some serious cash to be made on the Liverpool vs Chelsea match happening this Sunday with bookmaker totesport offering up (get this) 6/4 for the Liverpool win (when do you get 6/4 on a big 4 team at home?) contrasted with Chelsea's 9/5. The draw pays 11/5 and is really the most likely outcome. Things have been really haywire for Liverpool since Rafael Benitez's odd outburst about Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson. What seemed to be some pre-emptive mind-games heading into the latter half of the season looks to have effectively backfired on the Spaniard and, frankly, who takes on Sir Alex in mind games and expects to come out on top? Even Arsene Wenger has given it a rest. Luis Felipe Scolari's men really haven't looked in great shape lately, but are continuing to grind out most of their results. They had a real embarrassing slip-up against Southend and Scolari's job may very well have been on the line had he frigged up the replay. Chelsea are a steady team with real quality players, but they just aren't firing on all cylinders. Despite having two of the world's premier strikers (at least on paper) you still have to say that their main issues are up front. Chelsea simply don't look hungry for goals. Also, Michael Ballack- what the hell happened?I'm backing a half-time draw, which pays 20/21. I'm also backing between 2-3 goals scored in the match, paying out at evens. Liverpool are the slight favourites to score first, at 10/11, but I'm actually backing Chelsea to score at 11/10 shortly before half-time. Liverpool wind even it up in the 70th minute or so and then barely grind out the 1-1 draw. This is the best outcome for Manchester United and I really think 1-1 is the really plausible outcome. A correct score call on 1-1 pays 11/2.
