LIVERPOOL VS FIORENTINA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BETTING TIPS
Despite crashing out of the Champions League last week, Liverpool remain strong favourites to get the result today against the Italian side Fiorentina. Liverpool are currently available at a 1.85 price while the Viola trade at around a 5.0 listing. You’ll find that the draw is proving a popular option (wonder why?) at just south of 4.0.
The layers favour under 2.5 goals and you’ll find that priced at a 1.85 margin. Over 2.5 goals will pay out at 2.16. If you fancy a bit of a goal-fest over 3.5 goals is set at around 4.0 while over 4.5 will pay out at a massive 8.2.
Liverpool are not expected to keep a clean sheet, but they are favoured to win, and you’ll find them paying out at 2.48 should they manage to keep a clean sheet and 1.65 if they don’t.
The half-time score is favoured to be either 0-0 at 3.0 or a 1-0 margin to Liverpool at 4.1. A 2-2 draw at half-time is listed at an insane 110.0. You can also back the “any unquoted” market (which basically means one team to score 3 goals or more by half-time) and you’ll get a sweet 24.0 payday.
Fernando Torres is listed at 4.0 to score, should he play, while Steven Gerrard leads Liverpool’s odds with a miniscule 3.1. Dirk Kuyt trades at 3.3 while David Ngog is listed at 3.55. Alberto Aquilani pays out at 6.6 should he hit the score sheet while Yossi Benayoun can be backed at 3.8. His goals seem to have dried up recently though. Glen Johnson is 9.2 to score anytime.
Alberto Gilardino can be backed to score for Fiorentina at 3.8 while Stevan Jovetic is listed at 4.7. Juan Vargas can be backed at 7.0 while Mario Santana trades at 9.6.
Liverpool are trading at 3.25 to win both halves while draw/Liverpool trades at 5.0. Should Fiorentina be leading at half-time but Liverpool get the victory, you’re looking at a massive 30.0.
I think Liverpool are playing for pride here, but they are struggling to win games. This is their last Champions League fixture for a while and they could be expected to make the most of it. I don’t think it will be an easy slog though.
