Lyon v AC Milan Betting Tips

Lyon have been in fine form this season. Their superiority in the French First Division is akin to that of Chelsea in the Premiership, and they have looked pretty hot in the Champions League too. Paul Le Guen's charges have steamrollered over their rivals in the four matches they have played at home in this competition thus far - amassing an impressive tally of eleven goals within that quartet of matches, an average of 2.75 per game, while conceding just twice - an average of 0.5 per game. Conversely, AC Milan, their rivals in this Champions League quarter-final first leg clash on Wednesday, have won just one of their four away matches in this competition, losing once and drawing the other two. They rattled the net seven times in those four matches, a respectable average of 1.75 goals per game. However, that tally is flattering since four of the seven goals came against Fernerbahce, who won just one of their six fixtures during the qualifying stages, conceding a whopping fourteen times in total. Indeed, form away from home has also proved detrimental to AC's cause in the Serie A, in which they lie in second place, eight points adrift of Juventus, having lost five of their sixteen matches away from the San Siro where they are unbeaten in fifteen matches in the domestic league and four Champions League matches during the current campaign. Lyon posted one of the most impressive performances in the last round when slamming PSV Eindhoven 4-0 at home, in which Midfield playmaker Tiago netted the first two goals before ex Arsenal player Silvan Wiltord added a third in the seventy-first minute and Brazillian Fred completed the rout when firing in a fourth in stoppage time. It's highly unlikely that they will outpoint Milan with such consumate ease, but I'm sure they'll emerge victorious and, as such, the 29/20 that Expekt are offering about a home win should be duly gobbled up for maximum stakes.
