Man United v Man City Preview Sun 16.05pm
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />The vibes from supporters in Manchester is that United could give The Sky Blues a tuning on Sunday. The Reds smell revenge after a rather painful 4-1 defeat in March which put paid to any title aspirations they had last year. United are going into the game on the back of an emphatic win against Sparta Prague, and there could be another deluge of goals in this one. As you would expect United are favourites and at Stan James we bet Man Utd??4/9, The Draw?.11/4, Man City??6/1.On the face of it 6's does strike you as being a little generous in a derby, but Man City have been disappointing this season. The highlight has been a 1-0 victory over Chelsea, but apart from that, it's been average to say the least. They promise a lot at times but more often than not?don't deliver the goods. Also Man City have an injury crisis and they are having to field inexperienced players on the defensive flanks. These are the areas that United will be looking to exploit. City's midfield as well has been pretty ineffectual this season as well and if they have an off day United could railroad them in the middle of the park. The only thing in their favour is the fact that Ruud van Nistelrooy is missing due to suspension. But United's squad is full of options and they'll still be very strong up front. Saha will get a run out and he's a 9/2 to score first.Of course derbies do have a habit of being a bit of a leveler but United could just have too many aces up their sleeve on Sunday. On the handicap they are 6/5 minus one goal. This could easily be the bet of the day.
