They have scored the second most goals among teams in the bottom half of the table. Their 15-goal haul shows that they are not lacking attacking output. They have also missed 11 big chances in the league which could have sealed vital results for them.

But their attacking prowess has come undone with their shambolic defending. They have conceded 24 goals, which just happened to be the most goals conceded in the league. They have also committed two errors leading to a goal and given away one own goal.

Depending on how City can bounce back from their current slump, this leaves them wide open for exploitation.

What to expect from the match

Both teams will score. Leicester have been unable to find the net in only two of their 10 games so far: a 1 - 0 loss to Manchester United and a 0 - 0 draw with Crystal Palace. However, a rout by Manchester City is most likely.

In short, Manchester City are the favourites and Leicester City are a little less than the underdogs they once were in this fixture a little while ago.

Leicester City are not shy of goal scorers and very smart finishers even though they have missed 11 big chances. Manchester City, on the other hand, have a hungry Erling Haaland, who has slowed down a bit after already smashing a number of Premier League goal-scoring records.
