MANCHESTER CITY VS LIVERPOOL PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

The Monday fixture for this week's Premier League action pits Liverpool against Manchester City and I think both of these teams will be giving 110% as the bragging rights at stake here cannot be understated. 
City are the hosts and that's the reason why they're getting the edge over Roy Hodgson's side. Popular UK bookmaker Ladbrokes lists City at a 2.37 price tag while Liverpool can be backed at a very tempting 3.0. The draw can be had at a 3.25 price. 
The correct score market has the slimmest odds on a 1-1 draw and you can back that at a 6.5 price while a 1-0 result to either side pays out at 8.0. A 2-1 result to City pays the same 8.0 while a 2-1 victory for the Reds will reward at 11.0. 
If you expect this to be a higher-scoring affair then 3-2 to either side pays out at 26.0.
Carlos Tevez is the favoured anytime goalscorer in this match and you can back him at a 2.2 price. Fernando Torres is sitting at 2.37 while Emmanuel Adebayor trades at 2.75. 
Mario Balotelli's odds to score are also listed at 2.75 and I think he's going to be a very popular selection today, especially if he starts the match. Jo and Robinho are priced alongside David Ngog at a 3.25 listing.
Steven Gerrard's odds to score anytime trade at 3.5 while David Silva and James Milner share a 4.0 price. 
Manchester City are favoured to score the first goal with a 1.8 price while Liverpool are listed at 2.2. No goals in the match will pay out at 9.0. 
The bookmakers don't expect many goals with the over/under set at 2.5 and the under option priced at 1.61 and the over at 2.2. 
Personally, I think this match could really come down to who scores first and I think that Liverpool are more than able to defend their lead if they can take it. City desperately need the points, but it will be easier said than done today.
