Manchester United Manager Betting Tips PT 2

Many people believe that Mourinho is the only manager in global football, aside from perhaps Pep Guardiola, to have the ego necessary to  replace Sir Alex Ferguson. he certainly sent Chelsea South and got them off to a very poor start to the season with a series of off-field controversies that really seem to lose the dressing room for the high-profile Portuguese manager.

With one of the criticisms behind van Gaal's reign being the lack of attractive football being played at Old Trafford, one has to wonder whether Mourinho is really the right solution. His main rival for the job appears to be former Manchester United Defender Laurent Blanc who remains a fan-favorite to this day as many remember his excellent partnership with eccentric goalkeeper Fabian Barthez.

Blanc has proved to be an outstanding manager in recent years and many believe that he would be able to handle the Manchester United job, and satisfy the fans by playing good quality attacking football. He can be back anywhere at a 3/1 to 9/2 price tag to be named the next Manchester United manager.

The real wild card at the moment appears to be Ryan Giggs, who has been waiting in the wings to take over Manchester United for quite some time but has only ran the club in a caretaker role and has been the assistant several times over. It's worth noting that Giggs likely would need a spell with another club in order to prove that he can handle day-to-day management, since his original form as United manager yielded relatively up and down results. He can be back at a 6/1 price.

Former Manchester United names still in the mix include the likes of Gary Neville who was recently terminated from his management role at Valencia, and no trades at a 50/1 margin, well the return of Sir Alex Ferguson would reward at a price as low as 33/1.
