MANCHESTER UNITED VS EVERTON LIVE BETTING TIPS

We've got live betting on the Manchester United vs Everton match coming up here at Blue Square in just a short period of time. It's going to be a real corker of a match and we've seen some quality fixtures today, and there's a pretty good chance that this could be one of the top matches of the weekend.
United are listed at 2/5 for the outright win and that's fairly slim, and accurate, odds. Everton have had a year that really defines the term "underachievement" and their record against Man U in recent years isn't really one to boast about. The Toffees are a full 8/1 to take the victory at Old Trafford. The draw pays out at 10/3 and if we're goalless at half-time, expect to see the draw odds drop minute-by-minute.
Goals have been an issue for United and they'll need them here today. Wayne Rooney is set to get the start and he's listed at a slim 7/2 to score first and evens to score anytime. Considering the fact that Dimitar Berbatov may not appear in the match or may start from the bench, Rooney any time is a very solid punt. Michael Owen attracts interest at 11/8 but Rooney is surely the safer bet. I've also noticed that odds for Owen Hargreaves to score have finally been included and we could expect to see the Canadian Crippler taking to the pitch any day now.
Ryan Giggs is also interestingly-priced at 7/2 anytime.
If you're betting live on the match, it's important to do your homework and get a few nice bets in prior to kick-off as you'll be able to select from more markets, with bigger prices. Put together a few juicy (and likely) scorecasts and then you can use your in-play cash to either hedge or defend your pre-match bets.
Hypothetically, Michael Owen scored first and you're holding them at your scorecast price of 3-1, but there's still 30 minutes left to play. Put in-play bets on 3-2 and 4-1 correct scores. You'll get better odds if you're thinking 2 steps ahead at all times. If it's 0-0, you're going to get quality in-play odds on a 2-0 scoreline, much more value for money than 1-0 even if its early in the match.
For this fixture, I think you can make some nice selections on the half-time/full-time and then double up on in-play correct score betting. United will have Vidic back, likely, but it could be another makeshift defence- Everton have the players to score against United, but I just reckon Sir Alex Ferguson's men to be able to ask more questions than Everton can answer.
My selections are 2-1 to Manchester United @ 17/2
Draw/Man United @ 16/5
Wayne Rooney to score anytime @ evens
Wayne Rooney/Man U 2-1 @ 30/1
