Manchester United have been looking good so far in pre-season and it really appears as though they just might be able to hang onto David De Gea for at least another season. You reckon that if the Red Devils go deep into the Champions League or win the Premier League then he might just decide to hang around and establish himself as a United legend. 

PSG, to their credit, are in the middle of assembling a squad capable of reaching the latter stages of the Champions League and their manager Laurent Blanc will be looking to get the better of Louis Van Gaal here. The former Manchester United defender looks to be playing some hardball in his pursuit of Di Maria - who failed to turn up for United’s pre-season tour and appears to be trying to force a move. 

The general consensus from most United fans is that they would prefer to hang onto him but if he’s not going to put in the effort and he genuinely wants to leave then they seem happy for him to be shown the door at the appropriate price because it means somebody else is likely to take his place - and it could be somebody very big and very exciting.
