MANCHESTER UNITED VS VALENCIA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BETTING PREDICTIONS

With no Wayne Rooney available, Manchester United will be looking to Dimitar Berbatov as the lone front man as the side travels to the Mestalla Stadium for tonight’s Champions League fixture. The Spanish side are topping the group after United’s tame draw with Scottish side Glasgow Rangers on matchday one.
Popular UK bookmaker William Hill is giving Valencia the slightest of edges with a 13/8 price while United can be backed at a 7/4 listing. The draw is trading at 21/10 and honours-even would probably do for Sir Alex Ferguson.
Should United wind up winning the match, and they win by more than Rangers do against Bursaspor, then you can get a 5/2 price on the Red Devils to top the group at the end of the evening.
Dimitar Berbatov’s odds to score are priced at 5/4 anytime and 5/1 first or last. The Bulgarian is 6/1 to grab two or more and 33/1 to nail another hat-trick. He is expected to be deployed as the lone front-man in a 4-5-1. Bets on Michael Owen or Javier Hernandez should be avoided at this point, but you can expect to see the likes of Ji-Sung Park, Nani and Darren Fletcher in this one.
It will be interesting to see if Sir Alex deploys Darron Gibson for this one, or whether he will opt for a more holding midfielder. You can back Gibson to score at any point in the match at 11/2.
Paul Scholes is trading at a 6/1 price to grab a goal at any point in the match and that’s the same price as Darren Fletcher.
Patrice Evra is due a performance and if he gets the start then he’s definitely worth a look at 16/1 to grab an anytime goal.
Manchester United are 10/1 to come from behind and win, while a 15/2 price is laid for them to come from behind and draw. With United’s defence looking a bit shaky as of late it may prove to be a wise bet if you fancy Valencia to score first.
If you do think United will get the result here then they’ll likely have to score at least two goals. Try backing William Hill’s 9/1 price on Dimitar Berbatov and Nani to each score anytime.
