MANCHESTER UNITED VS WOLFSBURG CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TIPS

Manchester United head into their Champions League fixture with Wolfsburg listed as the 4/11 favourites against the German side's 8/1 odds. You can back the draw ay 7/2 and that may not be a bad bet as this one could be one of the juicier fixtures of the opening stages for United. I see this as being a competitive fixture that's played out until the last few minutes. I don't really see either team dominating, unless United are really able to hit their stride and get some early goals.
The main threat to Man U is Grafite, who is listed at 9/1 to score first or last, and I also expect Obafemi Martins to bring his knowledge of the Premiership to his team's approach. I think they will be looking to test the United defence and Jonny Evans will need to be in top form partnering Nemanja Vidic.
Wayne Rooney is odds-on to score in the match at 5/6 anytime and 7/2 first or last. Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen are both at 11/10 anytime and 5/1 first or last. I think Berbatov could add another one to his tally today after slotting home against Stoke on the weekend. I expect Ryan Giggs to get the start and Darren Fletcher to continue to boss the midfield. The Scot is 4/1 to score anytime- great value in my opinion as he has a habit of scoring important goals.
Correct score betting should be around 2-1 to Man U at 15/2 but if you're looking for some value, why not try a punt on 3-2 United at 28/1. 1-0 isn't out of the question either and that's your shortest odds at 11/2.
United are 10/11 to win both halves and Draw/Man United pays 16/5. I think 2-0 to United at half-time is well priced at 6/1. 1-0 pays out at 5/2.
I'm going to favour United here, but this won't be an easy match. Ferguson is a quality manager and I expect Wayne Rooney to have another dynamite match.
