MANNY PACQUIAO VS ANTONIO MARGARITO LATEST ODDS AND BETTING PREDICTIONS

The widely-anticipated fight between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito is drawing closer and is only two months away at this point. It looks like this one will be another stroll for Pacquiao, according to the bookmakers at least, and William Hill has just released an updated set of odds for this massive bout.
It clearly isn't the fight that we all wanted, and it looks like Pacquiao vs Mayweather will have to wait until next year at the earliest.
Unsurprisingly, Manny Pacquiao's odds to beat Margarito are priced extremely short with Hills listing him at 1/8 for the outright victory by any method. He's available at a very short 2/5 for a victory by KO or TKO while he is trading at a 3/1 price for the decision or technical decision victory.
Antonio Margarito looks to have his best chance of victory being a KO or TKO and you can back that at a 6/1 listing while he's at 14/1 for a decision victory. Personally, I think that if he does go the distance he might very well have to outbox Pacquiao and may be in with a shout on points. You can back him to win at a 9/2 price by any method.
The draw can be backed at 33/1 but that never happens, so save your money.
The fight is definitely not favoured to go the distance and that's why it's a solid idea to get in on the round betting as that's where you can cash in the big payouts. The favoured rounds for a Pacquiao victory is between 5-8 with all of them available at 10/1 prices. Pacquiao to win in the fourth round is listed at 11/1 while a ninth or tenth round win pays out at 12/1. A first round or final round victory is listed at 16/1.
Antonio Margarito's odds to win are trading at 50/1 in every round but the first one where he's at 66/1.
I think that Pacquiao should definitely take the fight if he comes in conditioned properly with a solid game plan. It won't be a walk in the park, but Pacquiao is at least a class or two above Margarito. I think a later round victory, possibly the 9th or 10th would be the best outcome, pricewise.
