MANNY PACQUIAO VS JOSH CLOTTEY PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

If the odds on Betfair are to be believed, Manny Pacquiao is a lock for a victory in tomorrow nights battle against Josh Clottey at Cowboys Stadium. A quick examination of the UK betting exchange reveals Pacquiao's odds to win are trading at around 1.17 to win outright. Clottey is listed at around 7.2 and has been seen as high as 7.5. 
If you're looking to cash in a decent profit on this fight, but you're still looking to back Manny to win, check out the method of victory market where the prices are still fairly competitive. Manny Pacquiao's odds to win by KO or TKO are trading around 1.75 while a victory by decision rewards at a solid 3.1 price. If you think the fight can go the distance, thats not a bad bet at all. 

Josh Clottey to win by KO or TKO are listed at around 13.0 and I'm confident that, if the Ghanian fighter manages a shock victory, it will be by a sudden KO. His odds to win via decision are at 16.0. 
A draw of technical draw trades as high as 60.0, I don't suggest backing that though as it is a once-in-a-blue-moon type of thing. 
If you think Manny Pacquiao will be knocked down at any point in the match (a realistic possibility if it goes into the later rounds and Clottey produces a solid performance) you can lock in at a hefty 4.1 price. Clottey to be knocked down is at 1.41 and some punters may find that an attractive option. Both fighters to be knocked down is a very solid 6.0 while neither fighter to hit the mat trades at 2.3. You can back a first round knock down at 3.1. If Manny comes out like a house on fire, it could prove a masterstroke if you went with that option. 
The fight pays 2.32 to go the distance while a victory or stoppage pays a slim 1.6. 
The over/under on rounds is the 9th and the bout is favoured to finish above 9 rounds at a price of 1.6. Should the fight end between the 1st and 9th round you've got a 2.4 price. That's an interesting thing to note- the fight is favoured to end in the last 3 rounds and the same punters don't favour a decision victory. 
Examining the round betting, Pacquiao trades at prices of 16.0 for a 9th round victory, 17.0 for a 10th round victory, 19.0 for an 11th round win and a solid 23.0 for a final round victory.

If you're looking to go with the crowd here, you'll be backing Manny to win by KO or TKO in the final three rounds of the fight. Those planning to swim against the stream, but still back Manny could do well to bet on Manny on points. You'll always get the best prices and value on round betting, so thats why I'm always tempted to back a KO or TKO victory. Pacquiao has put a fair amount of money in my pocket so far and, though I don't want to underestimate Clottey, I think Manny should be more than up to the task. I'm also confident that the Betfair prices are a very accurate prediction of how tomorrow's events unfold.
