MANNY PACQUIAO VS MIGUEL COTTO PREVIEW TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Anybody who invested a bet on Manny Pacquiao within the past few months is likely smiling pretty broadly as most sites were previously listing him in the neighbourhood of 2/5-1/2. Currently, Pacquiao is trading at 1/3 with virtually every major bookmaker. With the buckets of cash expected to be dropped on the Filipino fighter in the closing hours before the bout actually takes place, I actually expect a shorter price than 1/3. If you’re going to be backing Pacquiao to win by any means, then do it right now. Miguel Cotto is available in the neighbourhood of 2/1 and if you actually think a draw is somehow going to happen, Stan James has one of the best prices going with a 30/1 listing. Manny Pacquiao KO victory is dropping line a stone as well. It was previously listed at evens when the fight was initially announced, before trading at 4/5 for a lengthy period. Now, you’ll find a Pacquiao victory by KO or TKO at 20/27. Should his outright price continue to drop, I would not be surprised if he was listed at 1/2 for the KO or TKO victory come fight time. A Pacquiao points in would garner a 3/1 price, but its going to take a hell of a fight from Cotto just to get there. Personally, I think if this fight goes to a decision, Cotto will win it. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Cotto takes the fight, but if he can survive 12 rounds with Manny Pacquiao then he will likely have earned a victory. Such is the expectation on Manny Pacquiao to KO Cotto. If you are backing Cotto, he is paying out at very solid prices. A victory by KO or TKO pays out at 17/5 while Cotto on points will pay out at 15/2. In terms of the round betting, you’ll find Pacquiao at 14/1 for rounds 4-7. Many other sites are listing Pacquiao’s lowest-priced rounds as 5-9. Keep this in mind when betting at Stan James. You’ll get better value betting on rounds 8 and 9. He is 16/1 in rounds 3, 8 and 9 while 20/1 in rounds 2 and 10. A first round KO would pay out at 22/1 while a dramatic last round victory garners his highest payout- a 30/1 price. Cotto is low-priced at 20/1 for a victory in rounds 4-6. He trades from a high of 40/1 for a victory in the last round. I would say your best value round with Cotto is rounds 8 and 9 at 24/1.
