ManU cut to 2/5 to win Premiership
Manchester United have been cut to 2/7 from 2/5 to win the Premiership by Ladbrokes after their sixth win in a row at White Hart Lane.Reigning champions Chelsea went within a whisker of the Old Trafford outfit with their 1-0 win at Charlton on Saturday nightBut a four goal demolition of Tottenham Hotspur saw their six point lead at the top restored. The result was a sore one for the bookmakers as well as Martin Jol and his charges.Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "We were expecting a caning and we weren't disappointed. We did around £150,000 on the result and another £30,000 on Cristiano Ronaldo as first goalscorer."But we can't complain too much as the no score draw at Anfield and the score draw at the Riverside knocked out many of the accas long before United took to the field."LATEST BETTINGPremiership 2006/07Manchester United 2/7Chelsea 5/2Liverpool 40/1Arsenal 40/1
