MANUEL PELLEGRINI ODDS TO BE NEXT LIVERPOOL MANAGER DROPPING SHARPLY

There appears to be a new twist in the race for the next Liverpool manager and this is happening very quickly. Earlier today, we brought you a run-down of the latest odds situation for the Next Liverpool Manager betting. We had noted in the article that Manuel Pellegrini looked like he was becoming a bigger part of the equation. 

At that point in the day, Pellegrini was trading at a 9.0 price and we made note of it because he was the first contender to drop below the 10.0 threshold since Martin O'Neill rose from the favourites spot to where he currently trades at a 13.5 margin. 
Pellgrini has dropped in price over the last hour from 9.0 to a 6.0 listing. This is significant as the market has been stagnant over the past few days. 
To compound the importance of this, Roy Hodgson's odds to be next Liverpool manager are now beginning to rise and he is trading precariously close to the 3.0 margin. 
You'll find Roy Hodgson listed at a 2.8 margin while other favourite Kenny Dalglish is trading at a 3.35 price- relatively unchanged. 
Anybody with the foresite to have backed Pellgrini last week is on for a whopper of a payout if this comes through. 
While the Liverpool brass has been making noise about signing Hodgson, it looks like a few punters are looking to have a bet on Pellegrini, who is now looking like a very solid outside selection.
