MATT CARDLE AND AIDEN GRIMSHAW JOCKEY FOR X FACTOR FAVOURITES POSITION

Matt Cardle has definitely seen his status as the clear favourite for X Factor under threat over the past weekend and, while Aidan Grimshaw is definitely the momentum play at the moment, Cardle remains the outright favourite by a slim margin with popular Irish bookmaker Paddy Power.
As it currently stands, Matt Cardle is the 10/3 favourite to win the show while Aiden Grimshaw is now hovering around 4/1. Grimshaw dropped sharply based on a solid performance over the weekend. His price is now around half of what it was late last week.
1 Direction continue to be fairly strong contenders and they’re priced alongside Rebecca Ferguson with a 9/2 listing.
Cher Lloyd saw her price notching higher last week but a solid outing has seen her odds drop back down to 6/1- definitely putting her in the mix.
Mary Byrne is another interesting story as she looked virtually out of the running late last week and she’s now trading at a very plausible 7/1 price. These six contenders look a ways ahead of the chasing pack and with the favourite still paying out above 3/1 it really looks like anybody’s game at the moment.
TreyC Cohen is listed at 16/1 while Kati Waissel is at 25/1. Paije Richardson is at 33/1 with Belle Amie at 40/1. John Adeleye is at 50/1 with Storm Lee at 66/1. Diva Fever sits at 80/1 while Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho is a 100/1 longshot.
In regards to the next elimination on X Factor, it looks like Katie Waissel is the favourite at a 3/1 price while Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho is at 10/3. John Adeleye is at 9/2 while Belle Amie sits at 5/1. Diva Fever’s odds to be eliminated are at 7/1 while Paije Richardson is at an 8/1 price.
