MATT CARDLE NOW BETTING FAVOURITE TO WIN 2010 X FACTOR: BOOKMAKERS
Cher Lloyd has dropped her position as the outright favourite to win the 2010 edition of X Factor but she definitely remains in the hunt according to popular Irish bookmakers Paddy Power. Matt Cardle is now considered to be the solid favourite to win X Factor and you can back him at a 3/1 price to do so.
Rebecca Ferguson and Gamu Nhengu are the co-second favourites with 9/2 price tags and you reckon that a number of punters may be willing to have a go on either of them.
The aforementioned Cher Lloyd is now priced at 5/1 and is the third favourite according to the latest betting odds. New Direction/1 Direction is trading at 6/1 while Aiden Grimshaw is listed at a 7/1 price.
The odds then take a considerable jump to a 14/1 price on Katie Waissel. It really only looks like there is six serious competitors at this point and it will be interesting to see how the odds fluctuate over the next few weeks.
We’ve got four contenders at 16/1 and they include Belle Amie, John Adeleye, Nicolo Festa and Mary Byrne. Storm Lee and F.Y.D can both be backed at 20/1 prices with The Reason, Paije Richardson, Marlon McKenzie and Husstle at 25/1. Tom Richards is listed at 33/1 with Elesha Moses, Annastasia Baker, John Wilding and Keri Arrindell at 40/1.
In regards to the outright betting on the winning judge, we’ve seen a rather interesting price fluctuation with Simon Cowell’s odds rising to 11/4. Cheryl Cole is now favoured to be the winning judge at 6/4 with Dannii Minogue’s price dropping to 2/1. Louis is available at a 7/1 price should be pull off the upset victory.
Additionally, it should be noted that the outright betting on 2010 X Factor includes each-way betting, and this is a great way to make some cash from those longer odds selections, so if you think there are any significant dark horses in the race floating around 25/1 or 40/1- then you should certainly think about backing them on an each-way bet. Currently, you can get 1/5 odds on the top 3 finishers.
