MATT CARDLE STILL X FACTOR FAVOURITE WITH GAMU NHENGU A STRONG WILDCARD BET

Matt Cardle is clinging to his position as the outright favourite to win 2010 X Factor and popular Irish bookmaker Paddy Power lists Cardle at an 11/4 price to win the show. However, the strong surge from Rebecca Ferguson should be noted and she’s literally breathing down Cardle’s neck with a 7/2 price tag.
Gamu Nhengu is an especially interesting story as she is favoured to be a wildcard entrant after leaving the show amidst rumours of issues with a Visa. This has prompted Paddy Power to offer up an interesting bet and they’ve priced Gamu Nhengu’s odds at a 4/1 price tag with a run. This means that all bets on Gamu will be refunded if she doesn’t wind up coming back on the show. That’s a free shot on an outside contender.
1 Direction is priced at 9/2 and they remain quite competitive, having dropped in price and held their position over the last week.
Cher Lloyd’s odds are hovering around 8/1 with Paddy Power and she has been absolutely all over the place in terms of odds. She is on the drift right now, but a strong performance this weekend would likely see her price cut in half.
Aiden Grimshaw’s odds are listed at 10/1 and then the outright betting takes a sizable jump to 20/1 for John Adeleye. Belle Amie are listed at 25/1 alongside Nicolo Festa and former favourite Mary Byrne.
Storm Lee, F.Y.D. and Katie Waissel are all priced at 33/1.
Paddy Power is also offering up odds on a number of the other old contenders should they make a dramatic return to the show.
In regards to the X Factor elimination betting, there is no significant favourite but Katie Waissel trades at 3/1 with F.Y.D. at a 4/1 price. John Adeleye and Belle Amie are both at 6/1 while Nicolo Festa trades at 8/1 for elimination. Storm Lee sits at 9/1 with Mary Byrne at 10/1. Cher Lloyd’s odds to be the 1st elimination are a lengthy 20/1 with Aiden Grimshaw, Rebecca Ferguson and 1 Direction at 25/1. Matt Cardle is 40/1 to be the first elimination.
