Michelle Wie at the Sony Open

At last years Sony Open 14 year old golfing sensation Michelle Wie shot a sensational two under par 68 on the second day to end up with a two round score of level par. Sadly for Michelle it wasn't quite enough for her to become the first female golfer to make the 36 hole cut on the Men's PGA Tour in 59 years. She missed the cut by just one shot but she certainly made an impression. At six foot and now 15, Wie can hit the ball a long way as well and this year she'll be stronger both physically and mentally to take up the challenge once again. She regularly hits the ball over 300 yards. So her return to the Waialae course in her native Hawaii to play in this year's Sony Open is the subject of much media attention. Can she show the boys that Women's golf is catching up? Well Stan James bookmakers have decided to price up her chances of making the cut and progressing to the weekend. It will be a tough call.
