NEWCASTLE FAVOURED IN BLACKPOOL CLASH- OVERVIEW AND TIPS

St James Park plays host to a 'unique' clash this afternoon when the Magpies take on fellow Premiership arrivals Blackpool. The term ‘ironic' being in that to think of Newcastle being in any league other than the Premiership... feels ludicrous.
With both Premiership newcomers having had remarkably similar topsy turvy starts to the season, one would expect Newcastle to use their depth in squad talent to try and surge into the top half of the already bustling EPL table.
Betfair is the pick of the bookies for this clash in placing a Newcastle win at 1.58, with an unlikely draw anchored at 4.3. If Blackpool were to shock all with an away win at the ever intimidating St James stronghold, one could walk away a wealthy person, with odds set at 6.8
In prematch news- Newcastle's Sol Campbell has proven his fitness in two outings for the reserves, and could be making his much anticipated debut, with new signings Hatem Ben Arfa and Cheik Tiote also expected to get a run.
Andy Carroll is expected to be fit after a minor ankle injury and is immediately placed as William Hill's favourite to open the scoring for the Magpies at 4.33. Captain Kevin Nolan, after already having netted 4 goals this season, is also a good viewing at 2.25 to score at any point in the match.
