Next Leicester City Manager Betting Odds PT 1

It’s a very interesting but very disappointing situation at Leicester City for many Foxes fans as they were able to secure their Premier League status against all odds towards the end of last season but, after one of football’s most controversial tabloid stories in quite a while, manager Nigel Pearson has been sacked by the board with his relationship to the owners considered “no longer viable”.

It all stems from a racist sex tape that was recorded while Pearson’s son, a Leicester City trainee, was in Thailand with some of his fellow players. 

Naturally the tape went public and set off an international firestorm that led not just to the sacking of Pearson and the other two trainees, but ultimately cost the manager himself a seat that looked to have been locked up for quite some time after his heroics in the previous season. 

Virtually everybody would agree that there were definitely points during the 2014/15 English Premier League season where the owners would have been justified in showing Pearson the door and trying to get in somebody like Steve McLaren or Dick Advocaat - which worked a charm for Sunderland. Instead, the father and son from Thailand chose to stick with Pearson and they were duly rewarded for their faith as he pulled off a nearly unbelievable succession of victories and draws against some of the leagues top teams. 

However, this father and son tandem ultimately undid another father and son tandem and now the Foxes are trying to sort out their next manager when they should have been trying to reinforce the team and get ready for what looks like it will be another tough season battling for Premier League survival.
