Next Republic of Ireland Manager Betting Odds

The search is on for the next Ireland Manager after the departure of Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane from their co-managing relationship. Things are definitely looking interesting right now in regards to who is actually going to be named as the next Ireland manager and it appears as though the betting public believes there are a few different options available.

Their departure comes on the heels of Ireland failing to win a single match throughout the entirety of 2018 and having been relegated in their UEFA Nations League group.

Both managers have extremely high profile lives in Ireland and will obviously not struggle to find another management Gig if both of them are looking for them - although you can probably expect them to be managing separately instead of together anymore.

The leading candidate for the position appears to be Steven Kenny and a number of bookmakers have him listed at an odds-on price to be named as the next Ireland manager. His odds took a drop quite recently and it looks as though he's favored for the position although his price indicates that it is not a rock-solid possibility at this point in time.

Mick McCarthy is a perennial candidate for Ireland manager and he's trading as the second most likely contender in the betting market right now.

It's also worth noting that former England manager Sven Goran-Eriksson is also in the mix and would be a very interesting selection if the Irish FA where to go in that direction. Other notable candidates include Steve Bruce and Sam allardyce but both of them are trading at double-digit prices right now and look unlikely for the selection.
