Next Tottenham Manager Betting

We have some interesting names beginning to emerge now that it has become clear that Jose Mourinho has been sacked by the management at Tottenham Hotspur. This comes on the heels of plenty of controversy with social media chatter initially blaming Mourinho’s sacking on him reportedly unwilling to send the players out to train following the announcement of Spurs involvement in the talk for an upcoming European Super League.

Tottenham’s management continues to insist that this couldn’t be further from the truth and that Mourinho was let go because of underwhelming results on the football pitch.

Obviously they crashed out of the Europa League last week to Dinamo Zagreb which was very much a tie that they were expected to win. They had lost several English Premier League matches that would have put them closer to contention for a Champions League spot as well.

This is a tough situation for a team that were looking like world beaters last fall in the English Premier League and Europe. Julian Nagelsmann has emerged as the betting favourite to take over the helm at Spurs and you’ll find him priced at 7/2 so this is by no means a foregone conclusion.

Brendan Rodgers is anywhere from 7/2 all the way up to 5/1 to be named as the next Spurs manager and that wouldn’t be a huge surprise to many punters if he was to seek the manager’s seat at Spurs. Eddiw Howe can be backed around an 8/1 margin while Jurgen Klinsmann is priced around 11/1 but could be a longer shot than his price would suggest.

Rafa Benitez is the real wildcard here and you’ll find him available around a 14/1 price.
