Norwich vs Manchester United Betting Tips Part 1

United go into their fixture today probably hoping that they actually fall behind early thanks to a quick goal from the Canaries. Sir Alex Ferguson’s men have simply played so well over the past few months when coming from losing positions, that they’ve now got a total of sixteen points coming from behind. They are away to Norwich today and they’ll be looking to make this one a bit easier, but you do have to wonder how it’s going to affect the hosts knowing that if they go 1-0 up, it’s probably not going to actually mean very much.
Don’t expect Wayne Rooney in this one as he picked up a small ankle knock in his last outing so United will likely have to suffice with the presence of Premier League top goalscorer Robin Van Persie - the flying Dutchman is set to start this one for Fergie and many will be expecting him to get back on the scoresheet here.
Speaking of scoresheets, another guaranteed started is Mexican sensation Javier Hernandez, who came off the bench last week to score what was ultimately a hat-trick. though one of the goals was credited as a deflection off a defender. He has effectively earned back a starting place with the gaffer insisting that if you score a hat trick, you’re picking your own place.
Hernandez and Edin Dzeko have definitely emerged as this season’s super subs - Ole Gunnar eat your heart out.
United are the away team here but they still come in at a 1/2 price tag. Norwich trade at 6/1 to get all three points and you reckon that there will be a few punters looking to have a bash on them considering all the trouble that they gave Manchester United the last time that the two sides tangled.
The draw rewards at 3/1.
