Mark responded with NO DEAL. Mark's second round was inconclusive, opening the £50, £75,000 and £50,000. The Banker's offer reflected this by offering the same amount £13,000. Mark, undeterred, said NO DEAL.Round 3 began with box 13 opened by Nalini containing £10,000. Followed by two blues, £1 and £5. This saw the Banker's offer rocket up £19,000. Thinking that Mark was impulsive, the Banker hoped Mark would deal. He was wrong. Still NO DEAL. Round 4 wasn't quite as lucky for Mark revealing at first 10p but followed by the £20,000 and £100,000. The offer went back down to £13,000. However, with the jackpot still in play, Mark once again uttered NO DEAL.Round 5 began with opening £10. Phew - a blue! This was promptly followed by £15,000 and £35,000. The Banker offered a respectable £23,000 after this mixed round. Although the quarter million was yet to be found, Mark didn't want to push his luck and so he went with DEAL.With Mark now out of the game round 6 began with box 11opened by Rachael containing £3,000. Then came the £250,00, which bought a smile to Mark's face, and then the £5000. Mark's next offer would have been only £230. In the end Mark's box contained just £100. Mark certainly dealt at the right time.Friday 3rd November, Howard WilliamsHoward, who has just left his job as a cinema projectionist started by opening the £250, £15,000, 10p, the dreaded 1p and finally £75,000. It was a mixed round that resulted in a reasonable offer of £18,000. Howard responded with NO DEAL. The second round saw Howard's luck change as he opened the £50, £100,000 and then the jackpot, £250,000. The Banker's offer plummeted to £1,800. Naturally Howard came back with NO DEAL. Round 3 began with box 9 opened by Neil containing £50,000 and then, thankfully, some blues with the £10 and £100 gone. The offer came in at £4018. Still, NO DEAL. Round 4 revealed the £20,000, the £5 and the lowest of the reds, the £1,000. The offer dipped to £3,000 and still Howard stuck with NO DEAL.At this point, Howard really needed a low round to be in with a chance of winning some good money. Unfortunately this wasn't the case as the next three boxes opened contained £5,000, £35,000 and also £750. The Banker's fifth offer dropped again to half of what it was at £1,500. Still hoping for the £10,000, Howard pushed forward - NO DEAL. His dreams shattered though when the next box he opened was indeed the £10,000, followed by £500 and then the highest remaining sum, £3,000. With just £1 and 50p remaining, the last offer was 75p. With nothing to lose, Howard came back for the last time with 'NO DEAL'. Next came £15,000 and then £1. Another very solid round. The Banker's offer went up to £15,000. Helen still responded with NO DEAL. The next round wasn't quite as pleasing for Helen as she revealed the £35,000 followed by the £10 and then the £20,000. The Banker's third offer went up though, to £17,500. With still lots to play for, Helen again went with NO DEAL. Round 4 saw £1,000, £50,000 and the dreaded 1p knocked out. The Banker's offer continued to rise, this time to £21,000. This was difficult for Helen to turn down so she went with DEAL. With Helen now out of the game round 5 began with box 8 opened by Steve containing £5,000. This was follows by £75,000 and then the big one £250,000. Clearly Helen had dealt at exactly the right time - What luck! Round 3 played out as the exact opposite of the previous round with Paul opening 1p, £750 and £5 - All blue! This time the offer was multiplied by 100 to a whopping £25,000. Thinking this was too good to be true, Paul responded with DEAL. Still not tempted, Rachael came back with NO DEAL. In the next round, we lost the £100,000, £1,000 and thankfully a blue £50. The Banker stuck with his previous offer of £18,000. Second time round, Rachael still felt the same and went for NO DEAL.Round 4 started well with box 11 opened by Maggie containing 50p. Round 5 began with box 20 opened by Adie containing £35,000. This meant that there was only one member of the power 5 left. She really needed to get rid of the blues now. Luckily for her £250 and £500 went next. The Banker's fifth offer was still low though at £4000. Holding out for the £50,000, Madeleine again went with NO DEAL. BY the beginning of round 6, Madeleine's dreams had disintegrated - first went the £50,000, then 10p, then £1000. With just £1 and £5 left, the Banker's final offer was just £1.45. In the last full round, Lynne failed to eliminate the last blue, knocking out £20,000, £15,000 and £10,000. However the highest remaining red of £75,000 was still in play, aswell as 10p. The offer came in at £22,076. Having come this far, Lynne decided to risk everything and continue all the way She refused the swap and her box was opened to reveal... £75,000. The gamble paid off. The final box, 6, opened by Jim contained the 10p.Tuesday 21st November 2006, Steve PittSteve, a site agent for the gas industry had a peculiar first round opening £10,000, £1, £100,000, £5,000 and £3,000. Disaster struck at the beginning of round 5 as Shahid opened box number 20 for Steve, containing £250,000. This was then followed by 50p and £15,000. The Banker's offer sunk to £1,200. Still hoping for the £50,000, Steve went with NO DEAL. Round 6 began well with £5, but then went the only red £50,000, followed by the 1p. The game was effectively over. Once again Lucy came back with NO DEAL. In round 5, Lucy knocked out £35,000, £500 and £50,000. With the jackpot still in play the Banker offered £35,000. This finally tempted Lucy and she went with DEAL. Even though Lucy was now out of play, the game carried out with enormous excitement. In the following round, the £250,000 STILL wasn't eliminated and the Banker's offer would have been a massive £105,000. Lucy said she would have dealt. When it came to the last two, Lucy's box contained only £100 and Gary's box, 12, contained the almighty jackpot. Another crazy month on Deal or No Deal.
