PACQUIAO VS CLOTTEY LATEST ODDS AND BETTING PREDICTIONS

We're finally set for Manny Pacquiao's first fight of the year and, while its not the blockbuster Pacquiao-Mayweather clash we all were hoping for, I expect a really exciting performance and a few solid money-making opportunities for those having a bet on the fight. 

Those looking to back Manny Pacquiao will need to get creative if they're looking for a big return, with top UK bookmaker William Hill pricing him at a slim 1/7 to win by any method. Josh Clottey's odds to win tonight are trading at 4/1 with a draw or technical draw priced at 33/1. Those usually never happen, so I would put your money elsewhere. 
When the fight was originally announced, the odds indicated that a decision victory was likely and the bout would go the distance. In the few months since then things have changed fairly significantly. You'll now find Manny Pacquiao's odds to win by KO, TKO or DQ priced at 8/15 while a decision victory rewards at 9/5. Clottey is favoured to win by KO or TKO should he manage a victory, and you'll find him priced at 8/1 ahead of his decision price which sits at 14.0.

The Ghanian fighter has been underestimated from the announcement of the fight and I do think he could knock Manny down and, if he can deal with the hand-speed and ring skills, could catch Pacquiao with a few power punches. He will be hunting for a KO or TKO and I think he also knows that the longer the fight goes on, the better it is for Manny Pacquiao. 
I can actually see Manny losing the first round, just so he can see what Clottey plans to throw at him. Manny's combinations will likely prove to be too much for Clottey and, if you're going with the crowd on this one, you're backing Pacquiao for a KO or TKO in the late rounds.
