PADDY POWER NEW ORLEANS CLASSIC BETTING TIPS

Nick Watney and Kenny Perry are the bookies favourites to secure victory in a very wide-open field at the New Orleans Classic this weekend. Both listed at 14/1, the two players are both in very solid form. However, for my money, there's a much better tip for this tournament. Boo Weekley, a son of the south, knows a thing or two about golfing on this course and I'm very confident that he will finish top 5. In fact, I'd say he's definitely a contender to take the victory here. He'll be playing in front of a home-town crowd and I know that Boo doesn't get too spooked by the attention of a large group following him all day, so I think it will definitely play to his advantage. Paddy Power has Boo Weekley listed at 40/1. Other solid bets include John Merrick (not the elephant man) at 25/1, Canadian Mike Weir at 33/1 and K.J. Choi listed alongside Weekley at 40/1. If you're feeling nostalgic, David Duvall is listed at 500/1. Remember him?Another really solid value bet is Steve Elkington who is listed at 125/1. Even if he finishes fifth, you're still looking at 31/1 odds thanks to Paddy Power's each-way betting on golf events. You can back anybody at ¼ of the odds to finish in the top 5. That's a great bet and a solid way to make some extra cash on those longer-odds players. Bubba Watson at 80/1 is a solid bet for places 4 and 5, and you have to fancy a guy named Bubba or Boo to take the victory in the heart of the south.
