PADDY POWER PREMIERSHIP FIXTURES SATURDAY PART ONE
There is plenty of excitement happening in the football stadiums as opposed to the racecourses this weekend with a full slate of Premiership fixtures on display. We've got a few really enticing-looking matches and I'm confident that there's lots of stellar wagering opportunities as well. BLACKBURN VS TOTTENHAMNot too much between these two teams to be honest and I think that Spurs are in some better form than they've been for a while. I can see Blackburn being a bit fresher and having the homefield advantage may be the decisive factor here. I can see a 1-1 draw (9/2) being a really distinct possibility, but a 1-0 scoreline each-way can be backed at 7/1. ARSENAL VS MANCHESTER CITYWe've got a really interesting looking fixture here with the underperforming Man City up against a resurgent Arsenal. This match will be key in Arsenal holding onto that Champions League spot for next year and they will view this as a very winnable game. City have plenty of goalscorers, but the midfield hasn't been performing as well as it should. I like 2-0 Arsenal at 11/2. BOLTON VS MIDDLESBROUGHThis one likely won't be the most exciting fixture as both of these teams are performing beneath themselves. I think Bolton's hardworking midfield should be the difference here, but if Boro can nip an early goal I can see them setting up shop. The first 20 minutes will be key and I can see 0-0 being very plausible at 7/1.HULL VS PORTSMOUTHA must-win for both teams and anything less than three points will be viewed as an outright failure. Both of these teams are very close to the relegation mire and a slip up could see Pompey plummet back into 18th spot. I think Hull will open up quickly here and try to notch that early goal. Portsmouth's defence will be very important to the end result. I'm backing Hull City 2-1 with a late goal at 8/1.
