PARAGUAY VS SPAIN PREDICTIONS AND WORLD CUP BETTING TIPS

Spain are the justifiable favourites here and you can still lock in some very solid pre-match odds here. David Villa & Co. are priced at 4/9 in the 90 minutes market and that's a fairly decent price all things considered. 

You can back the draw at 3/1 while Paraguay to win the match within 90 minutes is paying out at 7/1. 
I think that this one won't be a blowout as Paraguay like to play some organized stuff and will look to keep it tight early on. Spain have taken a while to get going in a few of these matches and I think if Paraguay want any hope of taking this one then they need to score first. 
David Villa's odds to score are quite slim and that's hardly surprising considering how prolific the Spanish striker has been over the past few games. OPTA Sportsdata points out that Villa has scored five of Spain's last six goals. 
You can back David Villa at 8/13 to score anytime and 11/4 to score first or last. He is listed at 11/4 to score two or more and he's a very slim 12/1 to hit a hat-trick in this one. I can see that being a popular bet for Spanish fans. 
Fernando Torres is available at 10/11 to score anytime and he's 7/2 to score first or last. Andres Iniesta and Xavi are going to be key players, as always, and you can back them at 11/4 and 4/1, respectively. 
For Paraguay, they'll be looking to Lucas Barrios and Oscar Cardozo and you'll find them at 4/1 and 5/1 anytime. Roque Santa Cruz is available at 5/1 as well with Nelson Valdez sitting at 11/2.

Personally, I think that Paraguay need a low-scoring game to win and they need to score first. It's going to be one of their toughest tests of all time but Spain have shown weakness in the past. I'm confident that if Villa has a good game that Spain will be nearly impossible to stop. Although we have seen plenty of unpredictable moments in this world cup, I think this should go to Spain in normal time.
